Updated in December 2010. Here's a run down of
the changes from the publisher:
The biggest request we kept getting was to make the DVD 16:9 anamorphic. This
would make the DVD play edge to edge on the newer 16:9 TVs. If someone is still
using an older 4:3 TV, the image will be letter-boxed automatically.
We also noticed that 99.9% of the people that bought the DVD were unaware of the
Easter Eggs or hidden videos. In a nutshell, they were too well hidden. So
instead of hiding them we made a Bonus Menu that would make it easy for people
to access those videos. We also added a couple of extra videos. They're short,
but interesting.
I had also wanted an opening on the original DVD, but ran out of time, so I
added one this time around. It just adds a little pizzazz to the start the
video.
And finally, like Walt once said, Disneyland is always changing. Because of
that, we wanted to add some minor updates to the video for some of the changes
in the park.
I think a lot of people are finding out that this is not your typical fan based
DVD. We put a lot of time and effort into this project and spent about 2 years
researching, shooting, and editing. Most people that I hear back from are
pleasantly surprised. Our intention all along was to take people on a tour of
Disneyland and do our best to make it fun and interesting.
Join us on a fun-filled tour through Disneyland. Your tour guide, Lauren,
will show you some little known things to see and do at the park. There will
even be some side trips along the way. Over two and a half hours of Disneyland
fun, facts and trivia are packed into this dual-layer DVD. Tons of seldom seen
retro images, animation, and interviews help tell the story.
