Disneyland's 40th Anniversary
Jeff Lange takes you on a nostalgic trip back to
Disneyland circa 1995. This 40th Anniversary DVD features The Lion King
Celebration Parade, A tour of the Time Castle gallery, The Indiana Jones
Adventure “Temple of the Forbidden Eye”, The Spirit of Pocahontas stage show
and a bonus photo slide show.
You start your adventure at Disneyland with a
horse car ride down Main Street USA, taking in all the 40th Anniversary
decorations followed by the critically acclaimed Lion King Celebration
Parade. This segment was shot when the parade first opened in 1994 capturing
the show at it’s very best.
Next you explore the Time Castle gallery taking in
all the displays from Disneyland’s first 40 years. You also get to see items
that are buried in the Time Castle not to be opened until July, 17th 2035. As
darkness falls on the Magic Kingdom you are taken to your next adventure, the
brand new Indiana Jones “Temple of the Forbidden Eye” attraction. Whatever you
do, don’t look into the Eyes of Mara. You have been warned.
You finish out your magical day with a command
performance of The Spirit of Pocahontas stage show. This production has been
rated one of the best shows ever performed at the Fantasyland Theater. A bonus
photo slideshow concludes your Adventures at The Happiest Place on Earth!

Birthday
Jeff Lange takes you back to July 17th, 1995
for Disneyland’s 40th Birthday. This historic DVD features the Time Castle
presentation, The World Famous Jungle Cruise, The Original Space Mountain
and a special birthday presentation of the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks.
You start out your July 17th morning taking in
all the special birthday decorations and giant inflatables along Main
Street USA. Next you watch Disney celebrities arrive for the Time Castle
ceremony in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The celebration begins with
the Disney characters & dancers performing the 40 years of Adventures
theme. Mickey Mouse & Roy E. Disney enter thru the castle followed by
words from Mr. Disney. After Disney Legends John Hench, Marty Sklar and
Dick Nunis make their contributions to the Time Castle, Michael Eisner
gives a short speech and assists Mickey Mouse in sealing the Time Castle.
Next you experience an opening day original
attraction, The World Famous Jungle Cruise recently updated for the 40th
birthday celebration. After you survive the treacherous docking maneuver
you blast off for The Original Space Mountain.
As your day comes to a close we celebrate
Disneyland’s 40th birthday with a special enhanced presentation of Fantasy
in the Sky Fireworks. A bonus photo slide show adds the finishing touch to
your magical day at Disneyland.
