Just in time for Halloween and ready
to thrill all Disney fans. Learn how the Haunted Mansion was planned as early as
the fifties and discover why the manor was built and sat in New Orleans Square
for years.
This is a great DVD that really breaks down the planning stages of the runned-down
mansion through its initial opening in 1969. Returning as Theme Parkologys narrator
is the talented Bryan Simmons with an original musical score by the gifted piano
man, Markus Covello. It also has a fantastic interview with Disney Legend and
Imagineer, Bob Gurr along with doombuggie.com's creator Jeff Baham. Bob
describes in detail how he and fellow Imagineers came up with the idea to use an
omni-mover system which change the Mansion from being a walk-thru tour to the
attraction that we all know and love.
Jeff Baham was kind enough to allow an interview and speaks about the interior
works of the mansion, sharing his haunted knowledge of many of the characters
within the manor, including the rumored Hatbox Ghost.
This DVD is 56 minutes and will ensure each viewer a haunted good time and has a
18 minute bonus entitled, Meet the Family, in which up and coming voice over
artist, Raymond Macias, lends his talent as the host of Theme Parkology, sharing
his un-deadly insight regarding the family that dwells within the Haunted
Mansion.
