Window to the Magic "Widnow Series" Volume 1 - Yesterday Once More
Note: This is a fan created DVD. It can be returned within 30 days of receipt for ANY reason.
In 2004, WindowtotheMagic.com was
created by Patrick Hurd & Paul Barrie for the sole purpose of creating and
distributing the best UNofficial Disney DVDs available anywhere.
A key component to the WindowtotheMagic was to be a series of DVDs which
featured "ambient video experiences" from the Disney parks. Basically the idea
was to record the best and most memorable scenes from the different lands at
Disneyland and the different areas of Disney's California Adventure and display
them in a way which allowed the person playing the disc to get the "feeling of
being there."
These DVDs were to feature multiple 5-15 minute shots of the park videotaped
from a tripod so that the person watching the video felt as if they were looking
through a "window" (their television screen) directly into the parks.
Another key component to these DVDs was to be multi-channel surround sound
audio, which would enable to viewer to "surround themselves with the magic."
This DVD is the first in an on-going series of DVDs recorded at Disneyland.
"WindowtotheMagic Volume 1 - Yesterday Once More..." contains a variety of
ambient video recorded at Disneyland in 1994. From a shot of Yester -
Tomorrowland featuring the Wedway peoplemover, to an early morning shot of the
Rivers of America with Cascade Peak in the background, and topping it all off
with a fantastic shot of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Matterhorn lined up with the
skybuckets passing by, this first installment of the WindowtotheMagic "Window
Series" DVDs is not to be missed.
If you are having trouble with the concept, imagine if Disneyland had
high-resolution webcams with surround sound. Got it?
